Consultation:

At either your home or place of your choice, we meet to see if we are a good fit. We will chat about what you are looking for in a doula, I will answer any questions you have, and will run down the logistics of hiring me. 

 

I encourage people to take some time after we meet to chat about whether or not we would work well together. Once we decide to work together I will be in touch to set up our first visit. 

 

Prenatal Visits:

For the first 7 months you’ll work, monthly, as a family to establish clear communication, ground in your understanding and desires for parenthood, and work through any lingering fears. This service is part coaching, part doula, and part intentionally transitioning.

 

Months 8 and 9 you will meet twice a month to prepare for the birth of your new family member and to set-up support for the first parts of parenting this person.

Birth:

I go “on-call” for you two weeks before your due date, which means I am available for you by phone or text whenever you need support and am also readily available when you go into labor. 

 

Once you decide you’d like me at your labor, I will provide continuous support throughout labor and birth and up to three hours postpartum. 

 

During this time I offer emotional and physical support. Also facilitating conversations between you and your medical providers.

PosTpartum

After the birth of the newest member of your family, this service includes 3 postpartum visits. One at Day 3, Week 3, and Month 3. 

Additional visits are available for more postpartum support at $35 an hour with 4 hour minimum
